ACCOMODATION
Cosy Catz is a newly constructed cattery and so includes all the up-to-date technology available, giving us the very high standards required to conform with the Chartered Institiute of Environmental Health Licence.
All our luxury chalets have full height sleeping compartments with individually thermostatically controlled tubular oil filled heaters, this combined with inch thick insulation guarantees that all our pets are kept as snug as they would be at home, so their stay with us becomes as stress free as possible. Heated beds are also available, these are especially good for older cats. Each chalet has its own well-ventilated covered cottage style garden all fitted out with Astro Turf and cute cat sized benches to laze on. Individual or family chalets are available.
Our cat aerobic centres in each chalet allow ease of movement and entertainment, these are stripped and cleaned each time a chalet is prepared and they are replaced on a regular basis ensuring the very best standards are maintained.
There is a safety corridor running the full length of the cattery.
Worried or nervous cats are never left to feel frightened, they are comforted and encouraged to enjoy their holiday with us. Feliway (feline facial pheromone) which creates a state of well-being and calm may be used to help a cat settle, this is either a diffuser plug-in or spray. Older cats will often need more help to settle.
Chalets are cleaned once a day (more if necessary). Litter trays are checked regularly during the day.
Should you require grooming we are happy to do this as long as you provide the brushes/tools necessary, for reasons of hygiene we donot provide communal brushes. |
