At Cosy Catz Cattery, the health and safety of every cat in our care is our top priority.

To prevent the spread of illness, we only accept cats who are fully vaccinated against Cat Flu and Enteritis, and who are up to date with worming and flea treatments. This helps protect not only your cat but all other guests staying with us.

We take pride in being vigilant and attentive to each cat's wellbeing. Our team spends time observing behaviour and monitoring for any signs of illness. Should we have any concerns, we will ensure your cat receives prompt veterinary attention. Whenever possible, we will take them to your registered vet. In emergencies, we will use Taverham Veterinary Hospital. You will be contacted immediately if there are any changes to your cat’s health.

Cleanliness is key to a healthy environment. All units are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected between guests. This removes any lingering scents and ensures your cat arrives to a spotless, hygienic space.

For physical safety, the cattery is equipped with a double-door entry system, preventing any chance of escape. We are extremely cautious to ensure both doors are never open at the same time.

Our premises are equipped with smoke detectors, fire extinguishers, and comprehensive fire safety measures. We carry out regular checks and maintenance to ensure all systems are functioning properly, and we have a clear fire evacuation plan in place to keep your pets safe in the unlikely event of an emergency.

Additionally, CCTV is installed throughout the facility to provide extra security and peace of mind.
